MadVR Announce All New HDMI 48Gbps Envy Models

MadVR have today announced the next generation of its acclaimed Envy video processors—the Envy Extreme MK3 8K-48G, Envy Pro MK3 8K-48G, and Envy Core MK2 8K-48G..

Some highlights are:

VRR output is supported on all models manufactured since December 2020 (Core Premium required for Core owners).

Envy Core MK1

Premium Pack users will get the Dynamic Subtitle Overlay™ (DSO) soon. More information on this feature, and how it will shape subtitles for all users (and particularly projector users that use screens with ratios other than 16x9) can be found here.

Envy Core MK2

This unit builds on the popular Core MK1 and delivers major hardware advances, including a powerful NVIDIA 5060 GPU, a more robust CPU, and doubled RAM.. It is 8K-ready, with support for HDMI 2.1 and full 48 Gbps input and output bandwidth for the highest-quality signals today and into the future.

Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support on the input and output up to 360hz.

Upscaling to 5K24/50/60, 8K24/60, and any custom resolution up to 8K60

To get full 8K input/output the user will need to buy the Premium Package for the Envy Core MK2.

Envy Pro MK3

Replacing the Pro MK2, the Envy Pro MK3 features the NVIDIA 5060 GPU and HDMI 2.1 with full 48 Gbps support and advanced gaming capabilities, while enabling upscaling and processing for 5K and 8K with support for future AI algorithms

Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support on the input and output up to 360hz.

Upscaling to 5K24/50/60, 8K24/60, and any custom resolution up to 8K60.

Envy Extreme MK3

Featuring the powerful NVIDIA 5080 GPU, it provides extraordinary processing power and headroom for today’s demanding algorithms and tomorrow’s exclusive AI-driven advancements. It also features HDMI 2.1 with full 48 Gbps input and output support.
